The multi award-winning tool launched in December 2013 with the Sport Social Media Index (with brand partner William Hill) and was followed by the F1 Social Media Index and English Tourism Social Media Index (with Tripadvisor-owned brand partner HolidayLettings).
Published annually, the indices are calculated not just by Umpf’s own algorithm, but qualitative research from a team of more than ten people who analyse eight social networks, as well as a panel of judges who preside over the final set of results.
