Two Golds and one Silver at last night’s CIPR PRide Awards took our trophy count to nine in the last six months.
The Umpf team collected the top gong for the Best Use of Media Relations. The award was for our Winter Wellness campaign for Bupa Care Services. Judges said: “Umpf showed a high level of creativity,” adding that, “This was a tough category to win!”.
We also collected Gold for Best Use of Social Media. The CIPR said our BBC Good Food Show campaign for Belling was “Overall, a fantastic, well thought through social campaign.” (See blog cover image.)
In the same category we also won a Silver for our East Coast trains social media campaign on the Sky TV ten-part documentary.
Last night’s gongs capped a fine six months for our staff, adding to the six we won earlier this year:
3 x AMECs: Shortlisted alongside agencies and brands from Beijing, Chengdu, New York, Hong Kong, Umpf won three international awards – a Gold, Silver and Bronze – at the 2014 AMECs (the international Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication) in Amsterdam.
1 x CIM: Umpf scooped the Digital Marketing Campaign of the Year at the 2014 Chartered Institute of Marketing Northern Conference and Awards for our multi-award-winning Sports Social Media Index campaign.
1 x Digi Award: Umpf won the Most Innovative Product award from Corp Comms Magazine at their annual Digi Awards held at the Museum of London
1 x Some Comms: Another social media award for Umpf. This time it’s Best Use of Research and Evaluation at the UK Social Media Communications Awards.
