Is this the end of Snapchat?

Following the app’s latest re-design over a month ago, over 1 million people have signed an online petition on Change.org calling on Snapchat to revert this update.

Supermodel Chrissy Teigen became the latest star ditching the messaging app due to the complexity of the new update, joining celebrities such as Kylie Jenner and Rhianna who have publicly turned on Snapchat.

After Kylie Jenner reported she no longer used Snapchat last month, Snapchat reported to have lost more than $1bn of its market value.

If celebrities continue to ditch this messaging app – and encouraging their fans to follow –  the consequences could be catastrophic for Snapchat.

James Milner joins Twitter

Football fans rejoiced as James Milner finally joined Twitter this week. His first tweet was very fitting after his clean-living lifestyle earned him a reputation of being ‘boring’ – some may have deemed it a superb first Tweet of all time.

This moment has definitely been long awaited with a James already accumulated over 151,000 followers in the first week.

Instagram hears you

Instagram has responded to complaints about its algorithm-based feed, and now is making changes to display more photos and videos closer to chronological order.

The change comes after users complained of seeing old posts in their Instagram feeds following the app’s switch from a chronological-based display back in 2016 – its only 2 years too late!

Instagram also revealed it is testing a ‘New Posts’ button that will allow users to refresh their feed on their own, rather than automatically being bumped to the top of their feed when the app refreshes… watch this space!

Kim’s Photoshop fail

Kim Kardashian receives backlash after publishing a photo on Instagram clearly showing the photo had been tampered with.

The car in the background looked very peculiar and after criticism Kim turned off comments on the post. Kim claims she used a photo that a fan had already posted, and she only added a filter to it.

Capture

The claim comes following a series of accusations that The Kardashians – as well as other celebrities – have been sharing edited photos before.

And finally…

This week the hashtag #MyDreamJobIn4Words has been trending with over 25.8K tweets. Here’s a couple of the best ones:
